Does what its supposed to without any problems. Other brands might be someone’s favorite but those aren’t any better.

As one reviewer stated about this being a knock off of a Scott release. B3 archery is the grandson of the Scott family. Its the real deal top quality release you’d expect. I’ve settle on the king release after trying and using several brands for few montha at a time. It’s just a comfortable fit to me. Thats what matters most in my opinion. Not some brand name or cool factor!

To the guy who commented saying its a copy of Scott, B3 bought out Scott. So it looks like Scott’s because its a family member of Scott. The release is amazing. Best ive ever used without a doubt. Brought my shot grouping in quite a bit. However, that screw that holds in place that “swivels”, is really just the screw tightening and loosening. I actually had to end my hunt early because my release fell to the forest floor, wrist strap still on my arm. The screw dropped and i spent over an hour trying to find it. And i had JUST tightened it. So 4 stars because thats unacceptable for something like that, and made it so i couldnt hunt at all. Its brand new. Ive had it exactly one week now. That aside its nearly perfection, so if i were you, id buy it. Just watch that screw.

I contacted B3 last week and they confirmed that the strap is not synthetic.

I’ve shot maybe 40 arrows so far. I’m pretty happy with it. I do want to point out that the gosszy.com add keeps changing the image. The manufacturer website has this with a blue inner stem and trigger. My stem and trigger are silver. I like it better than a Scott I tried and returned. The B3 has a crisp trigger and the stem adjustments are tight and do not rattle like the Scott I tried. The wrist strap is nice but I’m not sure it’s leather. Feels synthetic. For a $70 release I expect better materials, but it is comfortable enough.

I have been shooting wrist releases for hunting since 1974. The biggest problemm had been finding straps long enough for my wrist. I have a large wrist and I just found out short fingers. The B3 King has a great wrist strap and I can adjust it to the 3rd hole.
My problem is that with the strap in the 3rd hole, I can just get the end of my index finger to touch the trigger. When I adjust the strap to the 4th hole, my wrist is squeezed and pinched. The real problem is that the release came in the shortest setting. So no adjusment to shorten the release more. I was able to take the screw out and shorten the release a tiny bit by putting the screw into the second hole, but the srew does not fit completely into the hole and I am afraid that the screw will break during the draw.
So if you also have a large wrist and do not have piano finger, I do not recommend this release and now I am afraid to try another B3 release. By the way I have shot Scott releases since they first came out. without problems so I had assumed that B3 from the Scott family would be similar.
