    I have not been able to draw this bow. I have no idea why. I need a special tool to adjust this bow and it was not supplied. The arrow rest is not as pictured. I have no “fiber optic sight” which I think is shown in the photo. A product I can’t use is is garbage. I admit I’m new to compound bows, but if I can’t easily use it, my son won’t be able to either and this was intended for him. The instructions are a joke. One sheet of paper? Jargo I have never heard before to describe bow functions? This package seems like I’m missing pieces. No warranty card. Etc. Etc. DO NOT BUY.

    A,B and C inserts are provided to adjust draw weight and length but using C yields only 22” draw length to the berber hole, NOT the 25” claimed in the listing and package insert. Design is implausible that draw length would adjust as claimed. Axel to axel is just 27.5”. Pull is rough without a good let-off. The rest provided (1st photo) looks like it won’t grab a 6 o’clock index vane but the rest functions poorly and seems to kick the fletching when firing. Definitely doesn’t work with helical fletching. I replaced the rest with an SAS drop away and then the bow was very accurate (tight group including “Robin Hood” @60 ft, in 3rd photo). A huge problem with the cheap, fiberglass arrows provided is the tips are GLUED on, not inserted, so the have a “lip” (2nd photo) that catches and makes it VERY difficult to remove from a target. Forget them and get 26” or 28” carbon arrows; spine of 600 is fine.

    I didn’t like the fact that it didn’t come with the whisker biscuit as shown in pics. Instead it came with a hard plastic arrow holder that destroyed the arrows. I had to purchase the proper whisker biscuit to fix the issue.

    This is a youth bow for sure but I love it. The bang for the buck is incredible also. Barnett seems to mostly make crossbows so I guess they don’t mark this up double like some of the bigger bow manufacturers. My 10 year old is 90percential on size so it is the right size for him.

    If your kid develops a like for it you can even upgrade a few things and learn to tie a D loop yourself or get a stabilizer or upgraded rest for it. Its kinda fun.

    FINALLY! After going through (literally) 5 different Bows for my 9 year old I found the right one. Easy to use and set up. He loves it. Shoots fine. You will need to dump the arrows and put a real arrow rest on there on course. The stock ones are garbage. It could also use a peep site but good news is that there are real strings on it so it can be done. At lowest setting it’s showing 17.16 lbs draw and I feel I could possibly go lower. I haven’t checked the full draw weight yet. ALSO! big plus, it came with 2 other sets of cams so I can have the draw length changed as he gets bigger . A plus all around and A plus for arriving so much faster than was expected!

    I really like the bow. The arrow rest wasn’t the one in the picture. It was a cheep little piece of plastic, almost dangerous to use. I bought an inexpensive brush rest and it is now my favorite bow.
