   Not sure if this is a genuine black eagle insert. I purchased a set because a couple of my inserts came out in my target. The insert on the left is what I got at my local archery shop, the finish is different and sits flush with the arrow shaft. The one on the right is what I got from gosszy.com, it has a bit more of a taper, finish is different, and you can feel a slight lip where it meets the arrow. The description says 56 grains, I weighed all of them and they were about 51 grains. I’ll use it for target practice, but not sure I’d recommend it for what you’re hunting with. I’m running Black Eagle Rampage 250/.001 arrows.

   I suspect these are fake, of the 24 I ordered 7 are damaged? or bad? threads. I tried screwing 2 types of new field points and 3 different broadheads on and only 17 will take a point. so I put them on a scale and they weighed only 50.8 +/- 1.5 grains not the 58 Grains I was expecting.

   As others have stated, these half-outs didn’t taper nicely to my 250/ .001″ Rampage arrows, leaving a exposed carbon edge. These Half-outs weigh approximately 51 grains, not the 56 grains as stated.

   Good outsert/insert, but I wish it had threads on the back end to attach additional weights to increase the front weight/foc.
