Relative easy to remove arrows even at short range. I use an only twenty pound bow, so more powerful may be more difficulty

The “Block” target family delivers again. This target is superb. I am shooting a Mathews Halon 32 6 at a 28.5″ draw length and 70 lb draw weight. At 40 yards with a 390 grain arrow, the arrow will penetrate almost the depth of the target (16″) but never breaks through the back. You will need a field tip wrench (fancy name for arrow puller) to remove the arrows though. The packaging says the arrows are easily removed (but only if you have a puller). Sturdy and quiet target. I do not keep mine outside overnight so I cannot comment on its ability to withstand the elements but at only 17 lbs, it is easy to transport. I would not recommend using broadheads as I could see the target material getting destroyed over time.

Pretty much what I said. It weights almost nothing and is very tough.
However, the arrows even from 30 yards go so deep in that I basically have to flip the target over and then deadlift them out.

When I started my search for a new archery target, I had some specific credentials in mind. I needed a large target face as I like to practice shooting my bow out to 70+ yards. I needed something that could handle broad heads as I like to practice with my regular hunting set up. I needed something that not only could stop my arrows, but then allowed for them to be easily removed as well; something I was definitely having trouble finding. So, I got some advice from Jim Burnworth and decided to spend the money on this target. Needless to say, I’m very pleased. I shoot a 31″ draw on a Faktor 34 pushing a ~540 g arrow (total weight) at around 290 fps, and it stops them better than anything else I’ve tried. Not only that, the arrows (broad head or field point) pull out of this target more easily than any other I’ve tried. Today I own 1. By next season, I hope to have 4 or 5 staggered throughout my range.

Great Target I would recommend buying it.

This archery block is the perfect size for practicing at any range. I would purchase this block again without any hesitation. The only negative thing about the block is that the back side does not have any pre-painted circles to aim at. I ended up spray painting 9 of my own circles on the back which actually worked out really out. I am shooting a 55 lb Mathews with only practice tips so far and it is holding up nicely. The arrows only go in maybe a 1/3 of the way. I am enjoying this product and recommend for anyone else. I will try broad heads in it somewhat soon.

This is a nice size target but a little on the heavy side. It work fine for my bow but it’s not good enough for my whitetail 400, bolts blow through up to fletching at 30 yards. 400fps is too much unless you have money to burn. Removing bolts and arrows alike is ok as long as they aren’t burried… the block seems durable enough for field points but broad heads eat it up
