   Easy to install. I set the FPS to the advertised speed of my cross bow and the drops in the scope line up well.

   One thing to keep in mind the FPS is adjusted by changing the zoom. So once you have it dialed in it is a fixed zoom scope.

   The illumination inside the scope went out completely. I use this for paint balling bought a second One for my wife will try it out this week in the sea if it also goes out.

3. HIGH QUALITY 1.5-5X32 SCOPE for a GREAT PRICE AND VALUE Verified Buyer – 30 August 2024

   I don’t have any experience with this optics brand, so I was hesitant while ordering it. But now, when I have it in my hands, I am impressed with this scope. Please note that it has a special crossbow reticle, which is not suitable for any sort of firearms or airguns. This reticle is specifically designed for crossbow bolt drop compensation in short and medium ranges, it’s completely useless for anything else. It’s a decent quality scope, very well built from what it looks like, and it will serve you well. Magnification can be easily adjusted between 1.5x and 5x by turning the ring located on the eyepiece side. Focus adjustment is also available on the eyepiece end of the scope, which is great. I hate it when a scope does not have such a simple feature as focus. Focus and magnification rings move smoothly, which tells a lot about the built quality of the scope. A unique feature of this specific scope that I have not seen before is that the magnification ring can be locked in place to prevent accidental changes of your setting. The most interesting feature of this scope is the ability to select your crossbow speed to properly adjust compensation of the bolt drop and zero it out. The magnification ring doubles as a bolt FPS selection ring that you can use to select between 300FPS to 425FPS. This feature cannot be found in regular scopes and it’s an impressive addition that makes this scope truly crossbow specific! I don’t like the fact that you can’t select magnification and FPS independently, but I understand the reason behind it and can accept this flaw. Windage and elevation turrets are large, so you can do adjustments with your fingers, but they are not covered by screw caps. To prevent accidental changes of windage and elevation settings both turrets have locking features. You can’t just simply rotate the turret, you have to first pull the turret cap up to unlock it, then rotate it, and then press down to lock it again. It is a very neat feature and works perfectly for keeping the scope setup intact while carrying your crossbow around. While there is no zero-reset feature, you can actually unscrew turret cups, realign them at zero mark and screw back, works great. The scope is illuminated, and you have a choice of red or green colors. I normally do not even consider a scope that does not have illumination because it greatly limits its usability especially in dusk and nighttime. The illumination knob is not too stiff and has distinct “clicks” on each setting. Red is great for the night, green is great for the day, dusk, or dawn. Scope has clear optics, I did not notice any significant distortions even at 5x magnification, which is good. The reticle is etched on the glass and is very sharp. Note that illumination only lights up the central dot and vertical bolt drop dots, not the whole reticle. On top of it, the scope is nitrogen purged and fog proof, but I did not expect otherwise. The scope comes with 30mm mounting rings, which are not that good. I noticed that cheaper scopes usually include rings and if rings are included, they would be the cheapest and crappiest kind. Long story short, I always throw away or give away the included rings and buy a new set of quality rings that might cost you as much as the scope itself. This time is not an exception, I’m not using these rings. But that’s OK. *** TL;DR *** Yes, I do recommend this HILIYOT scope to every crossbow enthusiast. It has eye relief, clear optics, and magnification from 1.5x to 5x, which is perfect for crossbow aiming. The reticle is a highly effective crossbow specific one with a bolt drop compensation. The unique feature of this scope is its ability to be calibrated for crossbow FPS. All adjustments work smoothly, turrets can be locked, everything looks good. Plus, it has red and green illumination. What else do you need? For less than 90 bucks, it is a deal that is hard to beat. The only issue really is that the included mounting rings are garbage, just throw them away and get your own.    Bought this for my Bear intense crossbow. Dead on at 20 and 30 yards, but at 40 and 50 yards the bolt is about 8-10” low. Still going to continue to fine tune it. The wind age and elevation knobs are easy to read and use, and the 20-100 yard markings inside the scope are great. The scope does light up green or red, and has dust covers. This is my first time ever using this type of scope so for now I will give a 4 stars until I figure out the 40-50 yard thing.
