   If you like me, I only probably make myself two dozen arrows a year, maybe three or four on a busy hunting season and outdoor 3-D. I also like to cut spin and produce Aeros from my really good buddies because none of the shops around give a crap about making sure the arrow is square that you’re cutting and leavingonly the straightest part of the arrow. Most shops don’t even spin test a thing or spine test. For the money, this little arrow kicks ass.

   It took me about 8 months to even open the box because I was busy, but once I did I could never get this thing to cut arrows even close to square no matter how many adjustments I made, no matter how many times I re-tightened the Allen key bolts throughout. I really wanted to like it, after cutting about 40 arrows the blade decided to shatter on me and the saw that I got doesn’t have the hole for the chuck to remove and replace the blade. I’m hoping the manufacturer will make this right.

   I have had this saw for over a month and use this saw frequently to cut a variety of carbon shafts for my Archery family and friends; having cut 3 dozen shafts. This Arrow Saw is designed very well to save space on your work-bench, make adjustments easy, hold your settings securely, and accurately cut your Arrow Shafts. Do your part by supporting the arrow shafts towards the ends, smoothly rotate them, being aware that the nock will influence the rotation. Once the Arrows are cut, square them on a Squaring device.
   The only problem I have had are the Cutting Discs. Having shattered the two that came with it. They are not reinforced, and very thin. Take care in not over torquing them during install and feed the Arrow shaft slowly into the disc.
   I contacted gosszy.com Product Support via chat and they helped me with the replacements.

   Very good product. Portable and accurate. It has many adjustments where others do not, such as cutting depth and micro tuning the length of the cut. I wish it had an area where you could connect a shop vac to collect the cutting dust efficiently. I put a shop vac hose as close to the cutting wheel as I can but it’s awkward.

   Works good. I think the cost vs benefits is not there. I would not buy again and step up to a more rigid saw that has a standard blade size. When I grabbed the unit the last time I broke the blade just grabbing it since there is no cover on it. It is a design issue.

   If you have the $ just get a better unit or I would just buy a cheaper unit at half the price because they cut the same.
