These make a big difference in quieting and reducing shock on an Excalibur. I have the Bulldog 400 and yes these will rob minimal fps from your crossbow, but so worth it. I also added the air brakes which I highly recommend, that seals the deal on noise and recoil.
Not cheap adders but you get what you pay for !

These items do take some of the noise out of my crossbow. On about the 10th shot, however, crossbow flung off the ex-shox. I applied them as instructions stated and left the bow alone for over 24 hours.
Still, pretty happy with the other pieces.

The ex-shox flew off the first time that I shot my crossbow after waiting 24 after installation to test. I don’t notice much of a difference in sound with the remainder of the parts installed. I wouldn’t install this system if I did it over again. These crossbows are going to have some sound.
