   I have been shooting these arrows for roughly four months now. When it comes to value, durability, and performance these arrows will surprise you. First off, value. Lets all be honest with each other, when it comes to arrows we often think price will dictate quality and in a lot of instances that is true. This however is now the case with these arrows, if properly spined these arrows will shoot just as good out of the box as my high my high end Gold Tips and on a few of my bows, BETTER. That speaks loudly especially when your on a budget. Next, Durability. I am not a professional traditional archer. I consider myself “Adept” level and I compete in the state 3D circuit shoots. I shoot on average a #55 bow, occasionally a #60. I have bounced these arrows off trees, blown through roots, and nailed into wood beams. Never once has the arrow broken or become unusable after the fact. The only time I have wrecked one of these arrows was when I impact them with another dead on(or semi dead on), see the 4th photo of the partial “Robin Hood” damage attached to this review. Last and most likely why you are reading this, PERFORMANCE. As I mentioned above, correctly spined, you can achieve a DISGUSTING level of accuracy with these arrows. These arrows have a lower GPI than most other arrows which can lead to insane speeds(keep in mind you don’t want TOO light or it will be the same as dry firing your bow). The fletchings are strong and of good quality, they wear like iron. The points and inserts, well, they are points and inserts, they do just fine for what they are. As I mentioned above, I am not a pro. I just started shooting competitively this past April of 2019, and while I have not placed 1st yet these arrows have landed me numerous solid 2nd place wins and recently a cash payout at a shoot. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with these arrows. They say you get what you pay for, I can say first hand that I have gotten MORE than I payed for with these arrows!

   For target these arrows have been amazing. They fly great, and seem consistent. Haven’t shot a medium to large game animal with one yet, but I don’t see that being any issue.

   These arrows are the first carbon arrows to actually fly true out of my Osage Orange primitive 60# recurve. All other 500 spine carbon arrows I have tried have been too stiff and have resulted in “left arrows” consistently. The fleetwood has been a much welcome exception to this rule. The only downfall has been a tendency for the shaft to split when striking the metal support pole behind the target, but that’s also partly user error 😉

   I love these arrows! Bought a pair from my local archery shop. The ones I bought here are different though. They say “fleetwood legion” with a big campy sticker on the spine of the arrow. I’m just really confused at this point because I can’t find anything on the internet about fleetwood legion.
