   This device makes all the difference. I used a 2″ cut off saw with the Shark Welding blades on Blackout X1 Pro Carbon Arrows and squared the arrows with the G5 tool. It took several turns to square the arrow up which made me think all my other previous cuts were off by quite a bit. I’m only a decent shot to begin with but this has tightened up my groups like never before. Check out the attached picture. 25 yards with a Bear Agenda 7.

   Great product. Only major complaint is all I got was small sanding disc as replacements. It did not come with a aluminum blade on it as stated. Other then that, its a good solid piece of equipment.

   It works pretty well. It’s a little cumbersome to use and it takes some practice to make it work as designed.

   I’ve found it works best when you abut the cutter end against something so you can put forward pressure on the arrow (so the end of the arrow to be squared stays in good contact with the cutting face surface), rotate the arrow and keep it aligned. I clamp a 2 x 4 across the end of my work table – that’s an easy fix.

   Overall I am pleased with the device.

   I used this tool to make take-down arrows to go with my Primal Gear Compact Folding Survival Bow. I cut six arrows in half, used the squaring tool to make sure the cut ends were true, and then glued inserts that allowed the arrows to be taken apart and put back together like pool cues. I tested them today and they all flew true and right where I was looking. There was no deviation in flight patterns among the six arrows, so I am completely satisfied.

   This thing does exactly as advertise, only thing I don’t like about it is that whenever it wears off the head units that sand the shafts are kind of expensive, they should have designed it that you could use sand paper or something cheaper but then they wouldn’t make any money. I also think it’s a bit overpriced but definitely a good piece very well machined!!

    Awesome device! It is a great way to take out any imperfections to arrows after they have been cut and to square everything up. Highly recommend to anyone building there own arrows.

    You wont believe how crooked some of your arrow shafts were cut until you use one of these. Broadhead tuning becomes basically obsolete after using this. Perfectly flattens both your arrow shaft and your metal insert making your arrows much more consistent, and more accurate. if your serious about improving your game, get one of these and thank me later.

    Id love to give this 5 stars but It has a couple flaws. First of all let me say it does its job fabulously. MY arrows are square and spinning great. and I was able to tune my broadheads to my fletching by trimming the face of the arrow down. My only complaint is that its a little difficult to keep the arrow in the grooves while spinning it, and it can take a bit of time to square up an aluminum arrow as it doesn’t take off much material quickly. all in all Im happy and Ill be using it on all my arrow builds. consistency is key and if you can remove every shred of doubt possible then your better off.
