This crossbow broadhead design is above all that I have seen and studied. No “O” rings to replace. The layered looking tip and blades are very strongly constructed. I just changed from a popular fixed one that failed to penetrate a solid quartering shoulder shot on a 150 class 8 pt. buck last season. It just bounced off about 5 yds. after impact and snapped the arrow in half. The tip was flattened and looked like it hit a rock and 2 of the 4 blades broke at the shaft. I expect this one will do the job. I am shooting a 350 FPS Xbow.
Update Jan. 30, 2017: I finally shot this broadhead at a fully grown doe at 10 yds. from a ground blind. The arrow speed was calculated to be less than 1/10th of a second upon impact based on crossbow rating of 350 feet per second. The shot was broadside with the entry point right behind the shoulder. It was a complete pass through in the top of the heart. There was no blood trail and the deer ran 100 yds. and dropped. I found the arrow intact buried under the heavy grass with the broadhead blades CLOSED! I could move them easily with my finger so they were not jammed; they just did not open. I’ll let you be the judge but I am getting something different. They probably will work on a slower speed xbow.

I bought these for TX bow season. No deer shots to report… however. We have a pig problem, and this broadhead has been deadly on the swine! I’ve dropped 2 pigs on the spot, largest about 150lbs. I mean on the spot! The cutting surface and subsequent carnage is very good. In my experience, a solid product. I’ve orders more.

The product works well, dose its job the way it’s advertised. But feel its expensive for 3 useable heads and one Un-needed practice head that is no different then field tips and also only rips up the target. I say sell the extra useable head for the same price making it four in a pack and sell practice heads in a cheaper pack. It also make since cause when ranging your bow you would want to take 3 or more shots of the same tips/heads not two field tips and one dud tip

this is my initial review rating. I bought these because I was having deer double lung shot run 150 yards from another brand. My buddy said he uses Grim Reaper broadheads for the crossbow. I paid extra for second day mail, spun them on Sat night- Boy they look awesome with that from cuting on impact blade! My bow is dead on 20,30,40 yards as I checked it with field points. Needless to say this morning SUnday, I went out and had 2 shots. I missed the first at 25 yards and it was low light of daybreak-didn’t see the bolt fly. But at 7:45 am I had a doe standing at 35 yards. I shot using the 30 and 40 yard pins, with a rest, only to completely miss! I saw the bolt going 385 fps do a corkscrew clockwise. The doe came ithin 20 yards afterward, then walked across the woods, only to be spooked and come walking back under my stand- too bad I didn’t load another bolt because I had zero confidence in this broadhead. I will try the heads on my target and see how they do there

These things are great! I shot a doe this year with one and the wound channel was impressive. She only ran about 20 yards then dropped. Only gave it 4 stars because one of the three fins broke off when it went through the deer and/or when it stuck in the ground. Replacement blades are available but expensive.

This is a very good mechanical broadhead it flies like my field point and is very well constructed without having to use any bands.

these are amazing broadheads. i was not sure of a mechanical. i shot a 6point from 22yards and a doe from 5yards. both went less than 10yards. massive blood loss and blood trail. i shoot a darton serpent.i have watched alot of you-tube and read reviews. i will order more of these just for spares. enjoy and good hunting.
