   I have 2 Palatinos and one Evergreen. The reseller for the Evergreen is local to me which seems important The only functional differences seem to be a rivet in the top corner of the Evergreen versus the all-sewn Palatino and reinforcements for the lace mounting areas. These may be to address wear problems I haven’t seen on the Palatino in 6 years (weekly practice and monthly gigging).

   Is this a fancy quiver made of nicely tooled leather? Nope, not even close. But It is a perfectly functional and sturdy bow quiver. I haven’t had any issues with it coming untied or falling apart. It stays open and is easy to use. Perfect for pit doubling.

   Bought this for my 15 year old daughter to attach to her double bass. She really likes it and I’ve noticed that when she has to turn her sheet music during a performance, she easily slides the bow into the sheath, turns her pages, then pulls the bow back out to continue playing. Also a great place to keep the bow when not in the bag.
