This product worked great on my Easton Axis arrows! I feel like this product is very beneficial for recessed insert type arrows since the carbon end of the arrow contacts the back side of your broadhead and can effect your broadhead alignment. Since using this product I don’t have to tune broadheads nearly as much if any. You can also the product to square the nock end of the arrow.
Use of the product is simple- I marked the tips of my arrows with a silver sharpie and turned my arrows until the silver was gone.
Quality- The product is made completely out of metal and the sanding disk is a simple piece of adhesive sandpaper so replacements for this part will just be a trip to the hardware store rather than ordering a specialty part. The only downside in my opinion is a price that I think is a little high but I’m very pleased with the quality product I received.

When I first heard about this product idea I thought I could probably make one myself and save the money. Then I thought about how it might be tough to make sure everything is perfectly square. I’m glad I bought this. Makes squaring fletched and unfletched arrows very easy. Even comes with a few replacement sanding pads. If you run out you can always buy some low grit sandpaper and glue a new piece on.
Make sure to buy a silver paint marker to mark the end of the arrow so you know when it’s square.
I’d say if you’re cutting and squaring more than just a couple arrows it’s certainly worth the money to buy this.

Decided to build my own arrows and this thing really squares the shaft after being cut. If you cut your arrows, be sure to cut 1/16 – 1/32 longer than desired that way when you square it, it won’t get shorter than desired length. Just keep rolling it on the square until it’s perfect.

I just finished squaring up my Easton 5mm Autumn Orange FMJ 400s with this tool. It was hard work, but worth it in the end. I put each of the lumenoks on my bowstring for safekeeping until the arrows were squared. I put the lumenok on the arrow to keep track of how far along it’ll go til it’s fully installed, then spin it on this tool for a few more rounds. I lost track of how many times I repeated the process, but I counted to 100 on every spin on this f.a.s.t. tool until it’s done.

Is the tool a necessity? No, you can shoot arrows just fine without it. However, when I have 1 shot to make on a buck I like removing all doubt. The tool works great, super easy to use, and it will last forever. If you are building your own arrows you need this. If you are not building your own arrows then you should because it is very easy and the accuracy increase is outstanding.

Good quality item, but I feel slightly overpriced for what it is. Then again, it is made in the USA (or, that’s my understanding anyway).
Otherwise, my only complaint is that both of the little “v-grooves” had sharp edges which left scoring marks on both my aluminum and carbon shafts (regardless of how lightly I applied pressure). I de-burred the grooves with very fine sandpaper while trying to avoid taking off any more of the anodized layer than was necessary. Works good now.

If you cut arrows to length, this tool is a must. It’s nice that it can square both ends of you arrows if you buy pre-fletched. I read the reviews and also noticed a sharp edge around the arrow grooves. I took my deburring tool and knocked that edge off and it worked well. You could also do this with sandpaper. I cut 12 shafts today and used this to square them up. And it worked like a charm. I did have one arrow come off the saw that yards bump on it but this tool took it right off and made it square. In my opinion, this tool is a must have for any archer. It will save you a lot of headaches and help tame some of those wild fliers. Even if you don’t cut your own arrows, you still need it to square up your nock end of the arrow.

Pros: Very well made. You can square both ends of an arrow even if it is already fletched. Seems very accurate and has eliminated broadhead wobble caused by the inserts not seating properly. Verified on an arrow spinner. I didn’t permanently mount mine and it was still very easy to use. Mine DID come with the extra sanding disks that others have said were missing.
Cons: Unless you build arrows for other people you wont be using it very often, but when needed it is an essential piece of equipment.
