This is a great now, I decided on it after several great reviews on YouTube. It’s perfect because as you progress you can purchase higher poundage limbs. The blue is amazing.

I owned two Black Hunter bows, a 40 lb longbow and a 35 lb recurve. I wanted more speed from a recurve and ordered a 40 lb recurve. I could have ordered 40 lb limbs but it doesn’t cost much more for a complete bow. A few weeks later the bow arrives with 50 lb limbs. I contacted the seller and he exchanged the limbs for 40 lb ones. A few more weeks pass and the limbs arrived but without the steel alignment pins. The seller sent the pins and I was finally able to shoot the bow. I have no complaints about the $100 bow it shoots well. The limbs do not match the risers of my other Black Hunter bows. They are not interchangeable so I am glad I didn’t buy limbs only. The seller is fair but shipping from China takes a long time.

At first I was sent a regular black hunter and got the wrong draw weight, so I was very disappointed and had to send it back, but luckily they sent me the actual bow I ordered, the blue black hunter with the correct draw weight. The bow itself is great and shoots great, I don’t use the other extra accessories other than the stringer but for a very casual shooter this is already good for me without spending too much money.

I purchased the blue recurve at 30#. It is 2″ shorter in the riser than my Galaxy and is a bit lighter. It fits me much better than the Galaxy..(it seems bulky to me.).I like that it’s lighter and a tad smaller. Shoots very smooth. It is not drilled for a quiver but that’s easily done. The color is beautiful. I shot it in practice around 20 times and then the next day took it to a shoot and did 27 targets and it did very well. I am definitely pleased… for the price I was skeptical but it turned out to be a nice little recurve. What I wish it had were the quick change limb screws where you can just unscrew the limbs instead of the screws that take an Allen wrench, nor does it have a place for a balancing weight if needed. It is just a basic bow. I like it came with string silencers they worked well.

My wife has decimated learning to shoot with this bow from knowing nothing to having solid groups from 30 yards. Unsprung your damn bows quit leaving them strung while not in use.
