   Target shipped directly from supplier and was delivered ahead of schedule, completely intact and no shipping damage. Target is life size and head is detachable so it can be cumbersome to carry but it does set up quickly and is very stable as the legs have steel tubing which envelops the rebar posts. The entire target is very lifelike to a degree where a 3D shadow is visible at the front shoulder to midsection, the infamous “V”, and aft-midsection to rear haunch. The target is perfect for low light practice (pre-sunrise and dusk). Core is resilient. Have upwards of 100 hits which leave only a very pale scar on the surface. Core hits are very easy to remove with bare hands, off hits are also relatively easy to remove as there is no “hard” plastic on the target. Best technique for removing off-core hits is to ensure a solid no-slip grip and straight pull. I use a glove with neoprene palm and have no problem removing.

   Target is well made, has very life like features. Is not a true life size target but pretty close. I’ve only had it for a couple months but it seems like it will last a while. Target self repairs very well. Removing arrows takes some effort, shooting 70lb draw at 20 yrds and it does not penetrate all the way through the target. I would recommend this target.

   I love the size of the deer but I have been through 2 inserts in 2 months. If you shoot everyday like I do you want a more durable core. The other down side is after the core gets worn out you start shooting through the back of the target because the core is only one sided when you replace it.
