1. Chronograph troubleshooting good and bad Verified Buyer – 10 May 2024

   Had this since march 2022, I love using this with the app telling me the fps especially when I have it mounted on a tripod 50 yards away but make sure you place an L angle piece of metal in front of it just in case you hit it. I had a close call with my .25 cal Avenger just nicking the top back end of it. I use this on all new pellets & slugs. What changes I wish would be done: I wish for an update to the app so I can select which rifle and then let me add a new shot list Example Avenger 25 cal / 44.gr Slugs this away I could keep my different caliber rifles separated and didn’t have to type a long list for what rifle and then caliber with grain weight. It would be nice to have it shorter Rifle model in a folder and another folder for another rifle model. Other then that everything is great and with app saving to PDF or Spreadsheet are great too. Like I said love it.

   Works with a phone but not my laptop. Called customer service and she said to but a Blu-tooth dongle, I actually tried two of them, followed all instructions and nothing! Also contacted tech support and they could not help. No refund as of yet, returned 5 days ago. This thing wanted a pin to connect and tech support has none to give. It would be great for a phone, but I use my laptop that sits 4″ away and will not connect! It’s possible that if you had a newer computer it may work, not sure.

   So I got this to replace a Caldwell one of similar design. This is light years ahead of the Caldwell. The app is great and very user friendly with a lot of options to customize your shot strings. The blue tooth works very well. (no cables Caldwell!). Tells you audibly your fps so you don’t have to watch the screen. Seems to have way less “errors” than the Caldwell. I have found that putting it out about 3 to 5 feet in front of the muzzle works best. As far as accuracy goes I have not tested it against a lab radar or the Garmin. So I have no live data to compare it to. I will say every once in a while I get a shot that seems to be high. Not way out of range (like 100fps) but enough to make me question it. I just throw that shot out of my shot string. Should have bought this one first!

   Used it for the first time this week. Seems to be well built, accurate and easy to use. I like how it has an app but you don’t have to use it. Will still display each number and leave it on the screen until you take another shot. Worth the money.

   A chronograph is indispensable for the reloader. This unit is accurate and easy to use because of its Bluetooth connectivity. I no longer have to squint to see the velocity since it shows up on my phone. You can also send the data via a CSV file via email or text message. It really improves the reloading experience.

   I handload my own ammunition & a good chronograph is an important tool to have for finding the best load. I previously had a ProChrono but without the bluetooth feature. Had it for over 10 years but it just quit working and I need my chronograph.
   Bought another brand chrono here but I was less than satisfied with that cheaper model.
   Looking for a new one, I came back to ProChrono & this one with the bluetooth feature is just what I was looking for.
   No cables needed & it connected easily to my Samsung S22 & my PC.
   I can create a customized shot list & the saved data can be saved & printed out as a PDF file. I save those to my Access database. Or it can also be used as chrono remote.
   If your looking for a good, reliable chronograph, I highly recommend this one.

   Works great, easy to set up and use. Mine has held up for over a year just fine. Plenty durable as long as you don’t shoot it on accident.
