   My 14 year old had never picked up a bow in his life and went right to it with this great set. Went with a 25lb string to start him off and it’s worked perfect, he’s been using for a few weeks and having fun with the targets I picked up separately. Its sturdy and plenty powerful – this is not to play with. The first day he put 3 plastic tip practice arrows through my large garbage receptacle missing the target. This was at a large distance and these were the garbage cans designed for street pick up made of thick plastic, so make sure you have the space to practice safely with this type of bow. Lastly, it’s long, my son’s a tall guy at almost 6′ so it was perfect for him but may not be the bow for some younger beginners or those on the short side if they don’t have the arm length. Only suggestions is to look up online how to string the bow because the instructions aren’t very good and pick up some arrows. The ones included are poor quality and you can find some great practice arrows right here on gosszy.com.

   Good starter bow, or bow for those with limited upper body strength.

   The price point was okay, but there were some quality issues that needed to be resolved before using. Limb fitment to riser was extremely poor out of the box, and I was forced to bed the limbs with fiberglass.

   All in all an okay quality, cheap bow.

   Purchased online. Box came all messed up, but item checked out ok. After roughly 500 rounds, the limb cracked– just after the return window, so I’m apparently stuck with garbage. Disappointed.

   Got this for my nephew who was interested in archery. The assembly was not bad. I did come across some difficulty lower arm of the bow. The screw threads fine with out the lower but when it it added, I had a difficult time. The upper piece went on quickly. This past weekend we went to try it out. After a few shots the arrow rest tore off most of the way. I was disappointed in the durability of the part. I have PSE and a fan but is was not up to the standard I expected from them. I seller was great the package arrived fast and un-damaged so no complaints there.

   Leaving a bad review because the instructions literally say nothing about what to do after stringing it. It has a picture of some random object that’s not in the box. What is in the box you ha e to assemble without any Instructions. Zero. I have two plastic things and screws that show nothing. Again, what you see here and in the Instructions is not what you will be getting in 2021. Avoid buying this product

   I’ve owned several compound bows and have hunted with them. I wanted to start shooting a recurve bow but didn’t want to spend a lot of money until I had some experience with one. I chose this bow to start and I’m happy with it. I use accessories that I already had for my hunting bows. You really can’t go wrong with PSE so I trusted that PSE would put together a reasonable entry package. I was pleased. The bow arrived two days after I bought it. I have no idea why the shipper was so prompt getting it to me, but they were. The bow does not meet state hunting requirements but I am not concerned with that. I have other bows to hunt with. I’m basically using this bow to shoot instinctively and having a heck of a good time with it while I teach myself. The light draw weight makes it easy to shoot for extended periods of fun.

   This kit is great for someone new to archery, I purchased this for my future mother in law who voiced an interest, the draw weight seems to be just right. The kit comes with everything you need to get started, it won’t be long before you want more arrows though.

   I’m very new to archery. My husband wanted to learn so we decided to each get a bow and learn together.
   The strap to help you string this bow is the best! I couldn’t string the bow without it and it made me feel better knowing I wouldn’t have to rely on someone else to string it for me.
   The directions were clear and it was simple to assemble. This would be great for a big out bag.
   If you intend to hunt I would suggest checking your state laws as 25lbs isn’t heavy enough in my state to take hunting. I’m currently not planning on hunting so it’s perfect. Eventually I will move up to a heavier bow as I get stronger but this is fun to shoot without straining.
   This is great for someone just starting out wanting to work on aiming and simply hitting the target. This would also be great for children to learn on as long as they are tall enough to hold it and have it off the floor.

   This was my first archery purchase and it has worked out great. I’ve put all kinds of accessories on it, even a whisker biscuit and a aftermarket aluminum sight and had no issues. The included arrows are not great, if you’re new look for cheap carbon arrows with feather fletchings on gosszy.com and you should be able to find them for under 4$ per arrow. The included arm guard is almost non-functional so get yourself an upgrade there too.
   Despite the shortcomings on the included accessories I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s held up through all kinds of newbie abuse, has shot a racoon and rabbit, and I’m still practicing probably 50-100 arrows a day and getting 12″ groups at 100’… its been a great new hobby.

    First time buying a bow and try to get into archery, so I really don’t have reference to compare with other bows. But I do want to say the quality of this bow seems great. Very nice smooth finish and sturdy. I like how the string has the rubber cushion (don’t know the proper name), that makes it even easier to draw string.. It came with a sight which we are still learning how to use, and seems to be high quality for its price.. I think it is definitely worth the money.

    Great beginner bow! The extras aren’t great quality, but the bow is worth the price alone if you’re just starting out. The arrows and sight are decent, but everything else seems a little flimsy. The stringer was very easy to use! My main complaint about the bow itself is that the nock came off my second shooting session. I’ll be super gluing it on or buying a more solid one. Overall, very pleased with my purchase!
