   Love it!!! Literally had it tuned in with the micro adjustments in 4 or 5 shots. Shoots great shouldn’t expect anything less since Mathews has partnered with them for their rests as well. Excellent rest!!!!! Only thing I don’t like is it Does Not have a set screw to hold it in place so if you don’t have the rest slid all the way forward it tries to pull upward when you start putting any real torque to it when tightening it down.

   I used this arrow rest while hunting in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2019, December. During practice in 30-75 degree weather the rest worked great. While hunting in cold weather, temperatures in the teens, the WAD arrow rest stopped working (would not lock the arrow in the upright position), it would not lock in-place. This happened multiple times (four times). The fix was to use my hand or hand-warmer to heat up the QAD rest (shaft mechanism) so it would work, it took about 5-7 minutes to get working each time, always in cold weather (below 15 degrees).

   Before I bought this fall away arrow rest, I never heard of an “Inertia Triggered” rest. I assumed that as the arrow is released, that the arrow rests control cable natural movement (tension) allows the rest to fall. Instead, I have learned that this rest detects the speed of the rests control cable, and if the speed of the cable is fast enough, it will allow the rest to fall. If however, I slowly let down the bows string without releasing the arrow downrange, the fall away rest will remain up, containing the arrow in it’s “U” shaped rest. This rest is pretty expensive, but you know how hobbies are, expensive! You have to pay to get the Best! I also wanted to try out the rests knob micro adjustable settings for windage and elevation, instead of the standard screw lockdown rests.

   I ordered this after contacting BowhuntersSuperstore who reasured me I would recieve the new QAD MXT. I ordered and did recieve the correct MXT in black. I have not installed yet but I am sure it will be nice. Always have used the QAD Ultrarests on all my bows.

   Update: MXT Rest works as advertised. The bowshop said it was easy to install and time with all the adjustability features of the rest. I like the look as well. QAD has always been reliable for me. This rest so far has lived up to my expectations.
