   No complaints/very happy thus far. 15yo son shot a doe at 30yds with our invader g3 crossbow and opened a 2″ plus entry and exit wound. Got the heart and lungs. Dropped within a 150′ of shooting her. I liked that they provided a practice point. Night before the hunt we made a few adjustments on the scope and get her centered in. I now need to purchase some replacement collars because will be using these points I’m the future.

   I have killed several deer with the Hypodermic. Don’t list to the people that say it doesn’t work. They fly perfectly and create a devastating wound. It’s like shoving a broadsword clean through the deer. The last 5 I killed fell within eyesite and left a bloodtrail a blind man could follow. I have shattered ribs, leg bones (on exit), and shoulder blades with these and it only caused slight warping of the blades.

   I’ve used these for years, harvested three deer in the last three years with them. Shot placement is the most important thing, but I don’t worry that the blades won’t deploy. That’s one concern with mechanicals.

   This weekend I have harvested a turkey and a whitetail with these broad heads. The turkey did do a number on the blades, but it broke 2 ribs and completely shattered a hip. I had a 7 point looking at me I shot just above the sternum into the chest cavity. It left more of a blood path than a trail. The deer dropped less than 50 yards from where it was hit. The Broad-head the got the deer was unscathed, as it did not break any bones.

    I have had mixed results based on 2 shots. The first went low because my xbow cam hit a limb when I shot. The bolt buried almost completely into the ground, only about an inch of vane was visible. The Rage did not deploy at all. The second was at a yearling buck hard quartering away fairly hard. The bolt went in at the last rib and exited at the base of the neck then buried into the ground almost to the fletchings. This resulted in a massive blood trail, the heaviest I’ve ever seen. The buck ran about 125 yds before collapsing. Both blades were bent but not broke.
