What a great broadhead. These get the job done and are quite durable, I’m very satisfied with them.

Nice broadheads but wrong spare collars in package.

Complete pass through on a nice 8, walked the blood trail without even bending over. Only problem was rear tip of one blade broke off(May have been from rock in the dirt?)

I’ve killed piles of deer with these from multiple vertical bows. Very high pass through rate. Good blood trails that aren’t that long to follow. Do your part as an archer and the head will do its part. They are, in most cases, a one and done head though. I would say out of 4-5 heads I’ll have enough undamaged blades to resharpen and rebuild 1-2 heads. Can always buy blades for the others, as the ferrule is rarely damaged, usually just bent blades.
All this said, I wouldn’t shoot these with slower setup, like 250FPS or less, my hunting arrows are in the 290FPS range, 70lb draw, 29” DL. I shoot these in a vertical bow. I have successfully shot them with the red collars, but I usually swap them to a grey collar as intended for vertical bows. I have not used these in a crossbow before, but I wouldn’t hesitate.

Works great with excabuir crossbows. Opened on the target and pass through. The blade still lokks good.

These heads are actually 150 GR Trypan Crossbow broadheads with the plastic collars.
All though these are still excellent heads, they are not the NC (no collar) version, and 150 GR vs the 100 GR version I need. Detailed description as Hybrid Hypodermic Tip Crossbow NC Broadheads, 100 GR., but picture shows something different and received something very different. Someone screwed up this description big time!! Many versions of these rage broadheads….know which one you are selling in this link gosszy.com! 🙂

These expandable broad heads are excellent for whitetail and moose. They were getting harder to find and gosszy.com still had some. Very deer and moose that I shot has been recovered. Just be sure to evaluate the broad heads to be sure they are in working order.

I used these 150g with an Excalibur matrix and shot a nice mature whitetail buck at around 40yds. I hit him a little high and a few inches behind shoulder and he dropped like he had been shot with a rifle. Huge wound. Lots of blood. Both blades had deployed and the arrow passed through. I switched to these after having mixed results with grim reaper mechanicals during previous seasons. The collars are basically idiot proof and only go on one way so sides of blades go where they are supposed to between slits in collar. Instructions provided are very clear. It’s only been one deer but I had great results. They are nasty. Happy Hunting.

These Rage Trypans are the cats A#$. When you shoot a deer with these things, they are dead before they know they have been shot. they don’t run far at all. The trypans are heavy duty, made well, hold up well, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease. The last deer I shot with Rage Trypan ran 23 yards. That’s right. You read that right. 23 yards. Everybody I know keeps saying try this, try that, look at this, look at that. WHY?????? I already found a broadhead that makes me an assassin. Why would I even look at something else, let alone try something else. I have bought enough of these Rage Trypans so that I will never have to use anything else. Highly recommended. All I use. Go ahead, Buy a set. You know you want to. Happy hunting!!!
