   Love the crossbow but you would think as much money as I spent on it I would get everything in one piece and not broken. Quiver showed up broken. Hopefully nothing else is wrong when i shoot it. Update: absolutely no contact from the seller to correct the broken quiver issue. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

   The safety broke after only 30 shots. Ravin customer service is horrible. They have no urgency to resolve their defect and poor quality control. Think twice about buying one. There are other options.

   Very impressed with the Ravin R29X. I had it sighted in at short range within 3 shots!! I still have to do some long range shooting once the bitter cold weather breaks. So far it has been a tack driver. Very accurate. Love the silent cocking system. Love the narrow profile. The trigger release is excellent. And it is VERY balanced and stabile when holding the crossbow free hand.
   UPDATE: I was able to get out and do more shooting. I had one inch groups at 50 yards using Ravin expandable broadheads. I also took (2) shots at 100 yards using field tips, and was within 2 inches of bullseye with both shots. Spectacular!!!! Very impressed!!!

   I am a tiny woman who has held off on bow hunting for fear of lacking the physical attributes to handle one safely and effectively for years. Then I heard of this Ravin, and I took the plunge. Using the Ravin bolts with field tips, I spent two afternoons learning how to load, unload, and shoot the crossbow and sighted it in using the instructions as my guide. The next day, bow season opened, I got situated in my spot loaded with Ravin bolts and broadheads, and bagged a beautiful eight pointer from which I harvested 76.5 pounds of meat. The accuracy was spot on with a shot straight through the heart. Needless to say, I am eagerly awaiting the 2024-25 season!

   Make sure you have a torque screw driver to install scope at proper specifications. Really easy to strip out. Shoots great. Took about 30 mins to sight it in. Accurate 3” group out to 100 yds easily.
