   The material seemed very tough and durable when I received the target…but 1 month in and it’s going down hill fast. This picture is it’s current state…just from my compound and I haven’t even got my xbow on it yet and that’s another 100fps faster. Overall not impressed…love my 18-1 all day from Rinehart but this bag misses the mark. I’d stick to yellow jacket, hurricane, or big shot brand bag targets for higher durability.

   Update. I’ve had the ball for some time now and I’m upgrading the ball to 5 stars. Infact I’m going to get a couple more. Only the first day, but I like it so far. I shoot a 30lb recurve so I wasn’t sure if the arrows would stick in it. Turns our both my Easton 2016’s and my home build wood arrows do fine. At 15-20 yards I get about 3″ penetration and the wood 2″ penetration. Yes your arrows can glance off, but I toss the ball into a ravine and shoot so not a worry for me. I use to shoot milk cartons, but this should work better as my wood arrows won’t pass through tearing off feathers. I’m only giving it four stars for now. We’ll see if time takes it up to five.

   Love this archey target. I have not been shooting it for more than a couple weeks, so I’ll update if new details come to light … but right, shooting a 45# recurve with feild point, this thing has no problem stopping an arrow. Also, litte effort to pull the arrow. And what a nice change from the stationary bag target … my favorite is to toss the target backwards, over your head(safely!!!) Then turn and use your instinctive aiming to plug a dot. Next step is to take it for a walk at the range on a Stumpshoot.

   Wir nutzen den Ball gemeinsam mit einem Cube mit Lang- und Hybridbögen von 40 bis 60 Pfund Zuggewicht.
   Der Ball schluckt alles was da kommt, die Eindringtiefe hält sich in Grenzen, das Ziehen geht sehr leicht.
   Einziges Manko – durch die Größe und das geringe Gewicht liegt er nicht besonders stabil, sondern rollt bei einem Treffer oder dreht sich.
   Die Schlaufe per Zelthering im Boden fixieren schafft Abhilfe.

   I received this for Christmas and I love it. It’s a lot of fun to toss out there and take some shots at it. The target itself seems to be very well made and the field points of my 55# Hoyt recurve don’t penetrate all that much. It actually works as advertised; because it is weighted, no matter how much it rolls it always ends up with the correct orientation (meaning, the slightly flat side is always on the ground). Obviously missed arrows tend to end up in the ground – if this is something that bothers you, this target might not be for you. Although I haven’t had this too long, I really think it will improve my accuracy because it gets me off of regular targets. Personally, I found pulling arrows out of this a little tough (not nearly so hard as to deduct a star), but maybe it’s because I’m used to a really old target where the arrows come out super easy. Having used this a few times, I have no doubts about it’s durability and I’ll update this review and let you know if it stands the test of time.

   For the price (about $34 at the time of the review) this is an absolute steal and I completely recommend this to you. I hope this review helps you make a decision.

   First impressions, seems to be a decent Target. The price was decent, the best part about the target is the target grid which will make zeroing in your Scopes or sights very easy. It’s this target holds up oh, it will be well worth the money and then some. I will report back after use and update how well it holds up to my Barnett ts390 crossbow.

   The ability to keep this in your car and pull it out when you have some spare time is amazing. You just toss it and shoot at it. For that its great. When you start getting a little further away from it is when the problems set in.

   Because its a test in gauging your distance, you (as others have pointed out) will inevitably miss it and lose an arrow or two. Not the worst as you should have some sort of backdrop behind it. In my case, my arrow landed very low on the target. See picture for results. Since all the sand drained out it no longer sits upright and bounces around when hit by an arrow the same as if you were just shooting at a soccer ball. This is problematic as arrows will start going in to it from all directions and might cross paths in the core of the ball ( I destroyed two arrows this way). I’m hesitant to bust it out again as these “lost” arrows are starting to add up to be more than the target itself.

   This target was shipped and received as promised. The target is awesome! My crossbow was shooting completely through my other targets, but this bag stops my crossbow bolts less than halfway into the target. Great product!

    Great target that is self contained. It is small enough to throw in a duffel bag and hop on a bike to ride to a favorite shooting location. Arrows remove easily, and it seems to hold up really well. I use a 55# recurve, my wife a 45# recurve. I am not sure how it would hold up to my 70# longbow, but I have other targets for that.
