   The string broke immediately as it was put on, but I’m changing my review because customer service handled the situation very well and refunded the damage. However I would not buy this bow again. I got a stronger string, but each shot it shifts off the bottom groove. I checked to see if the limb was warped, but it looked fine, so the grooves are too shallow. Not impressed with the product.

   I’ve had the Sage for a little over a year, and have been practicing with it at least once a week. I’ve had no issues, I started with 35# limbs and I’m now ready to move up to heavier limbs. I upgraded the bow string added silencers, a sight and wrist wrap.

   The product came packaged new and looks beautiful. Smooth finish, feels very sturdy. The second time I put it together- one of the tops came off of the screw that holds the recurve arm against the handle. I unscrewed the screw itself by hand so I didn’t ruin the threads. I told myself I would gorilla glue it back on but haven’t gotten to it yet. And as it hasn’t happened again, I’m not in a rush to do it though I definitely should. It would suck to not be able to get the scre me out or worst, damage it. The bow itself feels great. Not too heavy. After about 2hours of experience I feel happy with my arrow grouping size at 20-30 yards away. I hear that strings should be replaced for better ones but I will hold off for now, as long as it’s not dried out, and fraying I feel it will do fine. Has a few holes for sights and arrow holds which I haven’t looked into yet as I want to keep it simple and get practice. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

   I’ll start with the cons first. It took over a week to even start shipping but that might have been the companies fault. Second the string seems to be a fairly low quality but so far has gotten the job done though I can tell after only shooting it roughly 40 times the strings has noticeable wear on it. Quite a few reviews I read before purchasing this bow said the bolts didn’t line up with the holes when attaching the limbs. I however didn’t have any issues with that at all. The limbs attached without any issue and took me 5 minutes to have the bow up and ready to shoot. I’ve set my bow up to shoot off the shelf and it works quite well. Seems fairly accurate and with 35 lbs limbs seems quite powerful. I would absolutely recommend this bow to any beginner and with the quality of the build I can see myself using this for a long time. *update* 5/22/17 I bought this bow back in March and have almost had it for 2 months now. I have to say I absolutely love this bow! I’ve had no issues with the limbs, strings, or riser. My accuracy has improved and I’ve had no technical failures with this bow. I am just shooting off the shelf as the arrow rest that came with the bow was cheap. As long as you get arrows with feather fletchings you should be fine. Also for the brace height 8 1/8″ seems to work really well. The bow is pretty loud but that can fixed somewhat. The picture I attached is my groupings after about 2 months of shooting from 20 yards away.
