   Was a little worried when I read reviews about missing core and broken parts, but took a chance. Fortunately deer was intact and included the expected core. Also saw reviews about arrows traveling to far (or all the way through) the deer. Also not the case with the one I received. My first shot went through a rather thin area of the head (no I’m not that good of a shot, it’s just wear it wound up). But as you can see by the picture, the arrow did not protrude an unreasonable distance through the target (it was probably like 6″). Pulling arrow out was easy.

   Looks great, fiancé got it for Valentines Day gift. Not too heavy, works well, easy to pull and put stakes in/out of ground. Is fully foam, but serves its purpose.

   The deer is easy to put together and is of decent quality. But be informed the arrows are hard to pull from the target, and you take caution leaving this target out in the weather. It seems the foam becomes less dense due to sun,rain and cold. Overall pleased though

   We’ve shot the crossbow and compound bows at it numerous times. Still standing with rods provided. I notice it comes apart a little but still stands and is able to be shot at. Has not fallen apart in the targeted area. Seems to be a good purchase.

   Très pratique pour se pratiquer. Mais viser bien le milieu, le reste du chevreuil n’est pas fait pour absorber les flèches. Surtout les pattes sont en plastique. Ça fait une belle décoration. Très réaliste.

    In the photo I attached, I had only fired about 5 rounds of 2 arrows each at the target from a 50lb draw compound bow. Now for the compound, this is a relatively good target, but as the description states it is capable of stopping a crossbow, I’d caution against trying. One of my arrows above had the nock about 2 inches inside the target. I got this target specifically because it mentioned the crossbow since my wife has one and wanted a 3D target rather than the bag we have, and this makes me very hesitant to try since I don’t want to go losing bolts. Now, on a side note, as I said above this target works perfectly fine for my compound bow. Yes, some chunks blew out the backside of the holes a couple times from both the insert and the main body when I was off on my aim, but I think it will at least stand up to a practice season or 2 before I need to buy a replacement insert. Also, it is nice that the insert is replaceable so I can keep this target alive for a couple more seasons after that. Everything else about it is pretty standard. I’d buy again for myself or other compound users, but beware that I don’t fully trust the claim for crossbows on this one.

    Purchased and have used for a couple months now and seems to be holding up for a fair amount of daily shooting (30 to 40 shots a day a few days a week).
    Pros – price and size
    Cons – hard plastic legs break easily if hit with arrows, vitals core seems to slip out upon pulling arrows so a simple tip/fix is to place a bead of silicone around the core edge and install and let sit for a day before use.
    The ears can be broken off easily as they are molded as 1 piece. The antlers just stab into the head foam so they seem to work loose with a dozen shots or so, so adding a little silicone or even some wood glue can keep in place.

    Overall, not bad for the price at all but it probably wont hold up to daily shooting or more than a thousand shots a week.
    I would definitely recommend for regular backyard shooting a few days a week.

    I have had this for over a year and got a recent replacement. The legs are plastic and there are two aluminium “stakes” that have no point to help with driving into the ground. The stakes are hollow and will fill with dirt. I think the provided stakes are meant to be a permanent setup but I won’t be shooting it at only one distance though. Buying the universal stand will probably help with this issue but I did not buy it. When I read the info it stated that a replaceable core was included so I was under the impression that two were in the box. However, only one is there. Seems to be a decent setup when compared to other more expensive ones. Update: had it for over a year now and after shooting at it, the arrows are starting to almost go through. It has held up fairly well. At this point, I’m not sure of replacing the core or getting a new setup. There is another higher priced on for $145. Seems to last about a year but that depends on how often you practice and how many holes are put in the material. See photos for comparison. It held up fairly well and was rained on several times throughout the year.
