   Ich war auf der Suche nach einem hochwertigen Koffer für einen Mathews XT11. Der Bogen zählt jetzt zu den kompakteren Compounds entsprechend weiß ich nicht, ob größere Modelle ebenso bequem Platz finden. Der Mathews liegt aber sicher und gepolstert in der Schale. 10 Pfeile lassen sich in Schaumhalterung direkt unter dem Bogen aufbewaren. Eine vergebene Chance wäre eine Zubehörklappe neben den Pfeilen gewesen oder eine weitere Vertiefung für einen Stummelstabi. Ist aber eigentlich nicht so tragisch, weil man ohnehin für Köcher und Zubehör eine zweite Tasche benötigt.
   Der Koffer schließt dicht ab, und wirkt äußerst stabil. Für das, was man üblicherweise in dieser Preisklasse bekommt, ist der SKB hervorragende Ware. Besser kenne ich das nur noch von den teureren SKB-Modellen.

   I selected this case after reading the reviews on how the case fit the Z7 like a glove… and all those reviews are right on point. There are some reviews that claim that you can case your bow with a loaded quiver and that is something I was interested in since I have a 2 piece quiver that is a pain in the rear to take off and put on frequently. However, there are some caveats. -The case has a nice furry lower potion to set the bow in… and the bow fits in there nice and snug. Almost too snug if you ask me, but as with all new things, it will mold itself in no time to the bow’s shape. I do not see that as an issue at all. -There are four latches and two of them lock. With the case latched it stays closed and the halves to not wiggle… and that is a problem I have experienced with other bow/rifle/gun cases. Now let talk about the quiver… like most people I have a stabilizer on my bow. It is 4″ long and the bow bits inside the case with it installed with no problems. However, the bow sit in the case a little off center and the quiver hits the pad on the lid preventing it from closing. Not good and not what I was expecting. You have two choices… Remove the quiver or remove the stabilizer… if you want to close the lid that is. Right now I took off the stabilizer and put it inside a sock to prevent it from scratching things up when I move the case around. There is a chance that I may be able to try to mold some of the padding to give me enough space to have everything attached to the bow since it is only off by a tiny bit… I know the picture on gosszy.com shows the bow with the quiver and stabilizer inside the case but keep in mind that the picture also has the case open 😉 There is also no place to strap down anything inside the case. While it is not that big of a deal, it would be nice to have someplace to put the release in the case with out it being loose in there. For the time being, it is also in the same sock as the stabilizer. Overall this is a great solid case and well worth the money and I have no doubt it will do an excellent job protecting the large investment I am storing with in. EDIT: Sure enough, with a little molding the bow fits inside with both the quiver and stabilizer installed 🙂

   I bought this case to fit a Mathews Z7 Extreme Tactical and it fits it great. I really like being able to leave my quiver on the bow while in the case. I like the lining and build of the case, it’s snug and secure. I like it more than I did the Vanguard that I used to have. The only thing I would like to have with this case is interior pockets for small parts storage. Overall this is a great case for the money, I am very happy with it.

   This is a great case to protect your bow. This way better then the cheap plastic tackle box case. Why would you trust putting your $500-$1000 bow in something cheap. Very nice padding and velvet inside to protect your bow and cams from getting jarred around. It can fit in the case with your quiver attached and it has a spot for extra arrows. It comes with locks on the latches so you can secure your bow. Good quality case, don’t hesitate to buy this case for your bow. This is the cheapest price I found online, gosszy.com has the best price for this. Stop looking and buy it here. This fit my 2013 PSE Brute X, check your bow size axle to axle and width to see if it fits. SKB does make an XL version as well as other versions.

   Pros: good quality, good latches, good padding, plush velvet material, rugged protection.

   Cons: none found.
