1. Why not!!! Verified Buyer – 2 May 2024

   I wanted an expensive pistol bow for the longest time. I didn’t want to pay too much for it because if it was a toy…it would be a waste.

   IT IS NO TOY!!! Please be aware that this pistol bow could seriously hurt someone.
   Assembly was unclear but if you are aware how these things work its a fairly quick build. Stringing is…hard…but possible.

   The sights on this model are so so. the track is more or less a toy and you can not add a RDF without a rebuild.

   That being said…once dialed in it is very accurate! From 50′ you can achieve 80 to 90% grouping within 6 inches or less. It is quiet and easy to cock as long as you use the stirrup properly. Make sure to draw with both hands to not fatigue the shoulder.

   Id buy another and likely will.

   So I’ve only shot the bow a couple times so far since it came in kinda late and I put it together. Everything was pretty much just thrown in the box and not in nice styrofoam like the assembly video unboxing. The limb that came with mine has no markings on it at all nor does it have the white lines to line it up as the instructions say so I used a tape measure to make sure the distance was the same on each side. It appears to function fine and does have some power for its size. I’ll mess around with it some more to see how accurate it is and holds up.

   Nice little pistol. Needed help stringing it though. I haven’t shot it yet. I was missing 12 bolts/arrows. I contacted the seller and they sent me the arrows/bolts. It is 80 lb draw so it is a bit hard to pull back but you can always use the stabilizing brace to put your foot on to pull it back.

   The only reason im writing this review is to help someone else from breaking the cocking release mechanism like i did. Guess I was just to excited to use it and when I tried to cock it I did not press down on the release mechanism ( shown in photo) and it broke. The instructions don’t mention it at all. The crossbow still works fine and I do recommend it. You cant beat the price and it is a very powerful bugger. I purchased a crossbow target and it works great, bolts come out very easily and they don’t break. It also came with 15 bolts as described. I do highly recommend that if your a serious crossbow user that you buy a proper target. You’ll save a lot of bolts and its so much more fun. Hope this helps someone.

   I got this for Father’s Day, and when I went to see my dad to give him his Father’s Day presents I showed off my new crossbow. He liked it so much that yesterday, I gave him the one for his birthday.
   Pros: Power, from 20 feet it will penetrate through a 1/2″ privacy fence board. Value: not top of the line, but for this price you can’t expect it to be. That said, it’s accurate, not cheaply made, and well worth the price for an entry level crossbow pistol.
   Cons: Only one really, it is a pain to string. I’ve now strung up two of these. My first took a while and I needed an extra set of hands. The one I bought for my dad was easier b/c I flexed the bow over my thigh prior to assembly and stringing. This helped a lot and I was able to string it by myself.
   P.S. as has already been said in other reviews, this crossbow is not a toy. Be aware of what you are aiming at, and what is behind it.

   The cocking/holding mechanism is dangerously bad, and one of the pieces that is needed for the cocking mechanism to function properly broke almost instantly, at one point a misfire gave me a gnarly cut, should have stopped using it then and there but tried it out a few weeks later and it kept misfiring to the point that we had to stop so that it didn’t happen with a bolt in

   TLDR; very unsafe, is absolutely not a toy but its built like one, do not buy this product

   This is NOT A TOY. It is fun to shoot but you need more bolts. It is very accurate, even at 25′.
   I bought it for a costume party that I didnt go to but decided to keep it.
