Got this for nephew. His Mom complained that the bow string was too long. I contacted Southland via email and received reply with 12 hours – even during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Customer svc rep suggest the limbs may have been installed backwards. She was correct!

I purchased this bow set as a starter bow for myself. (I’m a 25 year old female, 110lbs ) i started with the 20lb limbs and it’s been great! It’s a wonderful starter bow kit that gives you basically everything you need to get started (besides the arrows). I would recommend this bow to any smaller females who are wanting to get into archery. You will eventually want to order a new string for it in the future If you want to use it for awhile though, because the stock string is decent to start with but starts to wear down if you use it a lot.
