   This shoulder sling is great! Wore it through a 4 mile hike (obstacle course) and saved me arms from carrying around a 6 pound beast of a bow. The magnet clips stayed in place and held the strap out of the way. Mounted on right side to avoid peep sight and release. Went on in seconds.

   I purchased this bow sling in June, and it failed less than 4 months after I received it. As seen in the picture the material holding the magnet in place came apart at the seams rendering the connection system useless. Now I have a very expensive length of paracord.

   Yes this does make hunting while hiking way easier. This sling frees up your hands while keeping your bow assessable for some deer that steps out, elk or turkey that came in silent, or even to just allow you to carry your tree stand in the same trip as your gear. I hunt out west, gnarly ground. After about two miles you will definitely experience some discomfort and chaffing if you’re hiking with the sling in contact with your bare neck. I counter this by wearing a lightweight hoodie or anything with a collar as one of the layers. Most of the time I sling it over my head and shoulder or just around my neck and let the bow free hang in front of me or over the top of my pack behind me. It gives you the ability to use trekking poles and still be able to get a shot off with a larger pack quickly. It becomes second nature to click the magnets together before a quick shot. If you put in a lot of miles using this sling, pay attention to your strings health. Wax it as needed. Your strings can take a beating with this sling as opposed to a sling + string cover. But you sacrifice a chance at a shot with that. You’ll get a shot off with this sling. This will add some major weight. So I opted in for a 3 arrow carbon fiber quiver to shed weight. Carrying my bow normal in one hand or the other just wore my arms out before I even got a chance to shoot and this fixed that. 4/5 because it fixed my problem and it’s tough.

   It stays perfectly on my bow to carry around the 3D course. I love the magnet and that it does not get in the way of shooting ever. Make sure to pay attention to the instructions (and the direction of the clip) when installing.

   I had previously purchased the Sunya Wrist Sling in this color was was surprised how well these match. If you want a quality sling, then this is the way to go. The installation is a bit tricky, but on a one to ten scale with ten being the hardest to do, I would give this a 4 to 5 just because my fingers are a bit big for some of the smaller places to attach this to a bow.. plus putting the magnet on the sling is not the easiest to slide on. Other than that, well, let’s see what I hear from the folks at the range where I go shooting. They like my bow even if it is not a 1500 dollar Mathews. I have a Bear Paradox, but remember, the deer don’t care what kind of bow you have.

   Clear easy to read illustrated instructions. Well made tight paracord ties and yet still flexible. Only one thing I would like to have is a stronger magnet for certain set ups and different bow designs. Magnetic peice just doesn’t always click into provided wrap like it should. Having said that this could be temporarily due to the fact that the paracord ties are still very new and not worked in yet..
   Still 100% worth purchasing!

   Oh my gosh I can’t describe how nice this is to have during bow season. It does not get in the way of shooting at all, the magnet allows you to keep it tight on the outside of your sight while you hunt. I did put camo tape on the metal ring to hide the shine and you should be careful letting the magnet stick together in the stand it can make a slap sound if you just let it go. I will probably use this forever

    This sling is amazing and half the price of some others. Quality is A+ and the magnets are more than powerful enough to keep the sling tight to the riser. I have it on on a Mathews Lift 29.5 and it works perfectly. If you are somebody that likes hunting spot n stalk like we do, this sling is a must. Well worth every penny.

    Product is as good as $35 can get. It’s sturdy and easy to install. I was worried about the strength of the magnet from reading the reviews but mine was perfectly fine. I shot for 2 hours straight with it in an outdoor range just to test it out and it never disengaged. (You can use the Velcro on the reverse side as an option if u don’t want to use the magnet) overall I’m happy and would buy again if I had to.

    I didnt want to spend the 100$ for the jakt gear one. Honestly, this should do what it says but is nothing special. The magnetic attachment is kind of a strange method, but works.

    Would’ve liked to have supported Jakt, a made in USA company but at well over double the price tough to swallow for what it is at the end of the day. At the end of the day this is paracord and a couple magnets… Just can’t pay a hundred bucks for something like that even if it is made in our great country. I’d like to think that a US company can provide both quality and value.

    I’m very pleased with the fit finish of this product and the value. Will be recommending it to friends.
