   I was initially concerned that they did not come with a practice head. I contacted Scwacker and they said weap electrical tape around the ferrule between the tip and the wing blade. This allows you to shoot them without the blades opening. Worked excellent and they shot almost the exact same as the regular Schwacker. Was able to take a big doe with them so far and the worked perfectly. Clean pass through with the bleeder blades making a nice entry hole while the expanded main blades made a huge exit. Doe did not make it far and blood trail was excellent.

   Very pleased with the accuracy. No difference from my field Points. One of the broadheads came apart after I opened the package. Took a bit to get it back together. Harvested a Javelina at 50 yards. Broadhead did some major damage to the animal. Large blood trail. Recovered the broadhead, resharpened and it is ready to go again. Considering using them on an upcoming Bull Elk hunt.

   Got them today wrapped tip that holds blades with electrical tape(1wrap so not to mess w flight) and shot at 40 same impact as field points. Then due to reading a previous review that said they didnt open i removed tape and placed the supplied band in allocated slot. Filled an arizona ice tea gallon jug (fairly stout plastic) with water and tightened lid. Stepped back to 20 and let arrow fly. Arrow exited jug leaving a large well defined hole with 4 distinct cuts then travelled 4 yards into solid Blob target and penetrated approximately 6 inches. I am shooting a 6yr old hoyt spyder at 68# with a 29.5 inch axis 340 @ 283fps approximately 440grains. The hole in conjunction with the accuracy plus my previous results with the original swhackers(approx 30 kills) give me the utmost confidence in these broadheads and they may make a trip to colorado with me to chase elk.

   liked the regular head for deer and turkey .. not for elk or pig but now with this hybrid, not afraid of elk with this.. however, for wild piggies, i will stick with muzzy trocar and or tooth of the arrow 4 blade. these fix the issue of no entry wound blood and if fat is sticking out the exit, you can be in a real jam looking for the animal.. this fixes that issues as they create a good entry wound.. and a crazy open exit wound.. great for columbian black tail and coues deer and turkey..
