The stability is good, needs lots of practice to develop accuracy, comfortable to use draw feels easier, easier to Nick arrows due to not being attached to wrist and getting in the way like finger release

Nothing smooth about the release. Feels like someone whacks my hand every time I shoot with it. Do not recomend for high powered bows.

Release works as it should.

This thing almost took my head off. I had shot my dads release which is the same as this one, he has had it for years and I decided to purchase one myself. Took maybe 20 shots with it and when I went to draw I made it maybe 3/4 of the way to full draw and the release malfunctioned, broke the LTR system on my bow, sent the arrow flying, and somehow I ended up with I cut lip (I believe I punched myself in the face when my fist with the release in it came forward) long story short I sent this POS back for a refund and am now back to using my Winn Free Flight release. Will never buy another tru ball release again.

This is a great release and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. But the way the trigger works – just could never get used to it. Pushing the trigger forward just didn’t work for me. I’ve got a new one with the traditional way of activating the trigger – way better. But again, this is a very well built release.

The Max Hunter is indeed the way to graduate from a wrist release to a handheld release. This is the logical way to use a release. Very comfortable release

Great caliper release.
Well built, compact, light weight, functions perfectly and easily adjustable (you’ll need .050″ hex key).
My only complaint is the price, IMHO it is overpriced as all other brand name releases.

This thing is awesome. Someone else said they didn’t like it because you had to push to release, I think that’s the reason its so cool. If you’re worried about releasing early don’t put your thumb on the trigger till you’re ready. And yes it does not accidentally release. And the adjustable screw for tension is a nice extra also
