   I bought this for a Ren Faire Costume and am really happy with the purchase. It’s lightweight and holds in place really well. It can be worn for left or right handed users easily. The shoulder strap and two smaller straps are easily adjusted to let the quiver site where you would like.

   The body of the quiver feel solid and keeps it shape. The black band at the top allows you to keep the arrows together and minimize them bouncing around. The pouch is a good size to hold extra bow strings as well.

   It’s technically leather, but appears to be pressed leather made from scrap leather – similar to what Benchmade uses for some of its knife sheaths. It wouldn’t be all bad except it’s also thin. The straps have a liner sewn on the back side but they are still way too thin and it isn’t going to hold up to hard use. The pocket on the outside is ok, but could be longer. The tabs on the end of the string knock against the quiver so for any actual field use, they’d need to be removed. As it is the long cords allow you tie a second knot in them and hold longer items in the pocket, like an arm guard and shooting glove. The quiver will easily hold two dozen arrows with field points, and I like the bungee separator idea. For broadhead use you’d need to add a more substantial bottom to prevent the points from poking through, as well as some foam to hold the broadheads securely. As is, it’s a field point only quiver. I shoot a long bow with uncut arrows. As such the design doesn’t work well for across the back carry. If you adjust it to carry the arrows low enough to reach and get out of the quiver over your shoulder, the quiver hangs too low and leans back, so that you can’t actually reach the arrows. Consequently it’ll mostly be used as pictured – to carry arrows back and forth from the house to an archery caddy and hold them while shooting at the caddy. I’ve given up on finding a practical leather quiver and I’m just going to make one of my own design to hold a half dozen arrows with broadheads securely.

   I’m shooting 20 arrows a day and this has ample room for another dozen in the quiver. Comfortable and easy to put on and take off. The magnet works fine so I can lean over and remove arrows from the target without losing any. Attractive buckles and finish and I use the handy extra pocket to carry chewing gum for my archery walks (It would hold points or bow tools too).

    I’ve been looking for an affordable and genuine leather back quiver for some time now and just happened across this quiver searching for other traditional archery related items. This quiver was just what I’ve been looking for! It is beautifully crafted, real leather (smells amazing) and has enough self adjustable features to make it fit you personally.

    Over all this is a great buy if you need a back quiver and kudos to the craftsman that artfully makes these, they are very nice! I plan to put some sort of soft material inside to help keep quiet in the woods.

    If you’re on the fence about this quiver, it is well worth the investment!
