   This bow came on time however it’s a 55″ bow not a 58″. The string also 55″. I measured the bow with the string on and off and because of its limb geometry it measured exactly the same both ways. 55″. I measured the string with it off the bow and it measured exactly 55″ overall length. While I found this to be weird, the bow does work decently. I ordered it as a 50lb draw. While I haven’t taken a measurement of the draw weight I can say it’s at least a 50lb draw just from experience. Came missing stick on limb silencers and arrow rest fur. Had this stuff not been missing and the bow been represented correctly I would have a better overall rating.

   Strung it up and set my nock point with a pair of pliers and was shooting in minutes. I tried a day with none of the frills on it and the bow handled beautifully. Added the felt on the string grooves and the fur string silencers and they live up to the name. The loudest sounds made are my leather glove on release and the THWACK on the target. Cutting the fur arrow rest to shape has saved the finish on my handle for the most part, but the rubber fletches on the outside do rub still. The bow has no hole for inserting an arrow rest nor one for mounting an attached hunting quiver, so it is more for the traditional shooter. You’ll need an arrow stand or quiver unless you want to stick your arrows in the ground.
   All that said, I’ve gotten a great workout from my 55lb limbs and the power behind the arrows makes them shoot REALLY flat. Even at 120ft. That’s about the limit of my yard’s range so I’m really looking forward to finding some open fields to try for longer distance.
   As of right now, the bow is probably more accurate than my skill level can surpass but I look forward to many more hours of learning the art of archery.

   These are the best limbs you can find very high quality compared to others, and they’re two inches shorter. They’re also the only ones that go up to 65lb, unlike most that max out at 60lb. The limb tips are exceptionally well made and thicker, making them much less prone to warping, unlike others with thin, easily malleable tips. This bow offers a smooth and accurate shooting experience, and it’s definitely worth more than its price. Highly recommended!

   This is the most incredible, value for dollar, recurve bow you will find. It’s fast at 186 fps with 10 gpp, stable in the hand, quiet, no vibration with a 7 inch brace height and wool silencers. Better than many, much more expensive, famous name bows.

   I’ve had hours of fun stump and target shooting out to 40-50 yards with this light (2.2 pounds), relatively short, and maneuverable recurve. If you just want to shoot traditional archery, this really is the only bow you’ll need.

    First off, I’ve never shot a bow in my life let alone held one, so my experience in archery is absolutely 0. Upon opening the box and taking out the riser, I was very impressed with the feel of it. There’s a good weight to it, it feels solid and strong. It is a little awkward for my hands though. I’m an average size guy, 5’11” 180lbs with hopefully average size hands, but the riser feels like it’s slightly too big/thick. I don’t feel like it would really affect anything, it’s just something for me to get used too. Assembly took minutes, extremely easy but if you’re a little confused just know the bottom limb is the one that has the draw weight and length written on it. Utilizing the stringer was a simple process as well, maybe watch a YouTube video if the directions are unclear. Along with the bows components, stringer, and allen key, came an accessory pack of sorts which I found interesting. There appears to be 2 brass nocks, 2 strips of felt for (everything I describe is what I believe to be, I’m not 100% on the purpose of these items) silencing the string where it meets the limbs, 1 piece of square fur for setting a pivot point on the arrow rest, and 2 strips of fur (I believe it’s skunk actually lol) for attaching to the string to silence it. All this was a surprise to me because the description didn’t mention any of that when I bought it, but this is all definitely a huge plus. Next I just want to list some things/concerns that you’ll still need to address before anything that probably isn’t too obvious if you’re new to archery as well: – Target: go out and and actually get you something that’s meant to be shot at. Trees are too hard, you need something that’ll keep your arrows intact. – Arrows: any 30in arrow should be fine for now since you’re just starting. The tips should have field points on them. – Finger tabs/gloves: I’ve read that repeated use of a bow without protecting your fingers can/will cause nerve damage sooner than later, I didn’t know that till after I used the bow cause yeah it actually hurts your finger tips drawing the string back. Just imagine carrying some object, at whatever weight you’re buying, with a thin string with just your first 3 fingers. It ain’t gonna feel too good. Do your body a favor and protect it. – Forearm protector: I bought one cause I heard horror stories, but honestly I haven’t had any issues yet. I even forgot to put it on once and went through 10 arrows before I realized it. Maybe just good form, maybe I’m just lucky, I don’t know but what I do know is that you wouldn’t be wrong to have it. You’re already saving a ton of money by buying this bow, spending $10 shouldn’t break you. Shooting the bow is definitely a new and interesting experience. I bought the 40lbs version, at my body type/build (slightly athletic), I definitely do feel the weight of the bow. Albeit, I think a significant part of that has to do with the pain in my fingers (I’ll be purchasing finger gloves soon) but it does still take some effort on my part to get the bow at my anchor point. OVERALL/TL;DR: This bow exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. If someone handed me this bow and told me it was $500, I would’ve believed them. I’m very much enjoying this new endeavor and definitely have 0 regrets about purchasing this particular item.
