This bow is being used for larp dueling in the park. 25lb is ample speed to send arrows at your your target quickly and accurately. I had tons of fun with it, the string is fine, the presumably fake hair-rest looks decent and I appreciate that it was included, if you are considering this bow, highly recommend it for larping or backyard target shooting.

A very light bow that is great for new archers. Made from laminated wood and some synthetic black
material. Tends to vibrate a little but that’s the nature of this style of bow. comfortable grip and a linear
draw, no stacking. I bought this for the wife to get into archery and she likes it.
It is listed as the 25# version: at 28″ draw it is 27# and at 30″ draw it is 29#. So just a little high.
Excellent value.

A great bow, especially for the price. Unlike most authentic longbows, this has a cutaway shelf like most modern recurve risers. We bought this bow in 35# for my wife to begin archery and for me to begin again, as it’s been a long, long time. This has turned out to be a great bow for us and great fun to enjoy a common hobby together. Now that we’re hooked, we plan to upgrade to other bows as our skills improve.
We’re using feather fletched 30″, 600 spine arrows with 100 grain field points and they’re perfect for this bow.

I got this bow to start shooting again after a few shoulder injuries. It was easy to string and after putting some beaver hide string silencers on…it is the lightest and quietest bow I have ever owned. Within a few days I was shooting a group of about 5″ at 20 yards. I really wish they made one in 50-55# range…in would buy it in a heartbeat. By far the lightest and quietest recurve I have ever had. Accurate off the shelf. Would highly recommend for someone learning to shoot traditional or anyone that needs something easy enough to shoot but build shoulder strength back up to shoot a heavier bow for hunting. I just hope they make one at 60″ or 62″ with a heavier pull.

Got this bow the other day. Looks good. Light weight and easy to handle. No defects. #35 measured #31 on my scale at my 28″ draw. Some twang to it, but not bad for a physically light weight bow. No hand shock. Supplied rest material wore through the hair fairly quickly but I changed that out. Shooting 600 spine Gold Tip arrows with 125 grain points has it shooting good groups. Yes it’s basic. Yes its a few pounds light of the claimed poundage. Yes it’s short, but it shoots well, and for the money, it’s a steal.

The bow was scratched up right out of the box and the string was beat up and obviously used! The tiller was also way off! I ordered a 25 pound bow and fortunately I have an accurate scale. About the only thing correct with this bow was the draw weight. At 28” it was just under 25 pounds which was close enough. The weird part is there were NO MARKINGS of any kind! No company logo, no model info, and no draw weight marked anywhere on the bow! With the scratches and no markings of any kind it looked like a bow that was made in someone’s basement, and not made very well in that basement! Fortunately gosszy.com made returning it for a full refund as easy as possible.

I bought this bow for teaching archery and it is perfect! It is great for people under 5’6″ I’d say. I’m 5’8″ and I can shoot it but it is maxing it out pretty hard, still, my shooting it doesn’t seem to be hurting the bow and I love shooting it as a warmup before picking up my heavier bow.
It fits very well in the hand, is light and nimble, fires arrows quickly and accurately.
I recommend the MS Jummper 700 spine carbon arrows with this, they are a fast little arrow at a good price and pair well with this bow.

This Sparrow is very nice to look at stare at and man … its small but gorgeous. It hits bullseyes almost always when you focus. This bow is in my opinion possibly perfect for beginners to learn from but most importantly, maybe even to get addicted to the mysterious art of archery. Even tillered and has a 8″ brace height. I use 3 finger under and feel less stack. Cheers ,
