1. Tru Ball Max Pro Plus 4 Best Release for Me Verified Buyer – 5 April 2024

   Great release. Bought another thumb release that broke the first week of owning it so I moved onto this. It’s nice because it stays attached to your D-loop. Feels good to draw with and shoot Only issue is the rotation on the swivel. When drawing you must draw back with hand position you want to shoot at or the claws will be torqued resulting in inaccuracy. Overall 8.5/10. I’ll keep using this one for quite some time! Should be less expensive though, want to buy another one but over $100 is too much this day and age. Get one of these.

   It is a solid release. My only complaint is that it’s very stiff and I can’t get it to soften up. Even after loosening the allen key screw. It just opens the jaws of the release more

   The Max Pro Plus from TRU Ball is very well built. It is comfortable and fits my hand perfectly. The operation is simple and straight forward: Push the trigger to open the jaws and clip it to the D-Loop, release the trigger to attach it. I would have preferred if the trigger had less travel and had a crisper release, that however would require a different mechanism. I do like the 360-degree rotating front end which puts less torque on the D-loop and allows it to be used with or without a D-loop. Have had zero premature let offs, all in all works great.
