My daughter has one of the bows with whistling arrows and my son wanted one for himself. He insisted we should get the one with the back strap. The moment he opened the box and tried to assemble the back strap into the plastic buckle, a tiny plastic peace to hold the strap in its place broke. It was made so brittle. It will be returned most likely.

This thing is awesome. We have a few of them now and they get a lot of use. Admittedly, we’ve sacrificed a few arrows to the dogs who are just mental for chasing down these soaring/whistling foam things. They fly pretty great for a toy! Now, we mostly play some sort of golf game… you know? Like, fewset shots to hit a specific target that’s 350 yards away… you shoot 3 or 4 times and then choose a new target… and so on… it gets… ‘competitive’… to say the least.. Absolutely recommend this bad boy; great toy!

Very cool product, kids love it.
It really does shoot the arrows far, so you will need a large playing area if you don’t want arrows in trees or in the neighbours.
Get at least 2 bows, so someone can fire the arrows back or you will be logging a lot of steps.
Even though the arrow heads are foam, they still shoot very fast and if you are shooting to younger ones maybe put some eye protection on them to avoid potential injury if it hits the face.
As a big kid myself, I would recommend this!
